Willie Bradley is a native of Orangeburg, SC and a graduate of South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC, where he earned his BS Degree in Music Education and a B.A. Degree in Music Performance. His music reaches worldwide and can be heard on Smooth Jazz Radio Stations around the world. Willie has recorded six successful Contemporary Jazz projects and is currently completing his seventh CD. Throughout his music career, Willie is a 3 time Grammy Nominated Artist with two #1 Billboard Smooth Jazz Hits, and he was selected as Beats Magazine 2021 Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year by The Smooth Jazz Network. Willie is also a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy. Willie has performed nationally and internationally with jazz greats including Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Frank Foster, Max Roach, Betty Carter, Gerald Alston, Ronnie Laws, Marion Meadows, Walter Beasley, George Clinton, Gerald Albright, James Lloyd and Andre 3000. Willie has performed the National Anthem for the Baltimore Orioles, Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Hurricanes, and the Los Angeles Clippers. He is also known for being a member of the brass section with The Original James Brown Band. Willie is currently a Music Industry Professor at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Initiated into Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in the Spring of 1995-Tau Gamma Gamma Chapter ( Home of The Airborne Ques at Fort Bragg, NC). Willie was the Talent Hunt Chairperson for 28 years, received the “Citizen of the Year Award” and “Superior Service Award”. Willie is a Life Member and currently the “Achievement Week” Chairperson serving in the Epsilon Omega Chapter in Orangeburg. SC. Bro. Bradley is a member of the board of directors of the International Talent Hunt Foundation (ITHF) and a member of the International Talent Hunt Committee (ITHC). Willie is a recipient of President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. “Lifetime Achievement Award” for his lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through superior service work and contributions to the music industry.
