Sara N. Abou Rashed

Sara N. Abou Rashed is a graduate of Centennial High School in Columbus, Ohio. She is the daughter of Razan Oueis. In 2013, she moved with her family to Columbus, Ohio from Palestine which is when she started writing poetry in English. Sara has been awarded for her art and poetry as several of her works have been published in books and literary magazines. Her extracurricular activities include Mock Trial, soccer, poetry slam team, speechgiving, and serving as an intern on the board of trustees of the Northwest Columbus Civic Association. Sara plans to attend Dennison University and major in political Science.
